HELLO, FRIEND!
I’m excited to introduce myself and this place of ours, welcome you all the way in, and ask you to stay awhile. Because so much good is happening here, and my favorite thing to do is share the good.
My name is Rebekah (friends call me Bex). My biggest and most important job is as a mother to five children. My oldest is a scientist living in Seattle, and my youngest just started grade school.
I wear a lot of professional hats.
Most recently, I founded Row House Publishing and its children’s imprint Wheat Penny Press. Together, we’re Raising the Volume on Voices That Matter™ and publishing Books for Little Readers and Big Change™.
But that’s where I am now, not where I started. I’ve been sharing my story online for more than a decade while also creating a diverse and vibrant community of like-minded folks—people who want to change the world by being the change they want to see.
Most of those people found me through my meditation videos and bestselling books, and that’s the kind of content you’re going to find here at BexLife.com. This site represents a good decade of my online wellness work and my journey to discover exactly what I want to do in the world forever.
So yeah, I’m a meditation guide.
I’ve spent a lot of years teaching everyday folks like me how to connect with themselves and find peace and calm through accessible, practical tools like my own brand of 4-minute meditations.
My books and free online resources continue to guide thousands of people every day to create practices that work for them, on their terms, wherever they might find themselves. I promise that you can do the same, and it will be easy (oh, and doing it will probably change your life). Because I’m here, rooting for you success.
I mentioned my books. I’m a writer, too.
Of long-winded Instagram posts. Of hilarious (and humbling) moments in parenting. Of questions about things I find awe-inspiring or curious or unjust. Of tales from the trenches of living with anxiety and depression (and the long and beautiful process of self-healing through community).
And also of books for stressed-out humans, and stressed-out humans with children, and little humans who are also sometimes stressed-out about big messy things. You can find my books at Wheat Penny Press and wherever books are sold.
Because — for real — who isn’t stressed out right now?
So much of what we see, hear, and experience feels upside down and scary. But at the same time, I can feel the air pulsing with electric positivity, unbridled creativity, and endless possibilities. I’m so glad I get to share my hope (and some really effective solutions) with the world through my platform.
That’s why I’m so excited about my work as a Mentor for Creative Healers™ and as president of Row House Publishing, the first truly equitable, truly inclusive, truly progressive publishing house on the planet.
I want to see more good work by good people being put out into the world— reaching more people, healing more hearts, changing our future for the better. So I help creators build bigger platforms, write their books, and sometimes even publish them!
I’m gathering up all that positivity, creativity, possibility, and revolutionary spirit I can and setting this world on fire!
The phrase that best describes my business method and my whole outlook is “joy as an act of resistance.” Which means I’m going to lead with joy while working with you to dismantle anything that would destroy it—broken systems, false narratives, and stale paradigms. To hell with those.
My purpose and mission:
- help humans who want to make an impact;
- show people how to heal themselves so they can heal others;
- make mental health and wellness tools accessible to all who need them;
- help others put worthy, meaningful content out into the world;
- and spread laughter and joy in the process of it all

And now that you’ve read so much about me, I’d love to connect with and hear all about you.
Let’s connect:
Through my private Blissed In Facebook Community, my YouTube videos, and my TV show Got Zen? on the Z Living network, I invite you to take a peek into my everyday life and my personal healing practices. You’ll enjoy health and wellness tips from my expert guests, healing meditations on every topic imaginable from me, and lots of radically honest conversations.
And if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll see what inspires me daily, including my whole crew of two- and four-legged babies. I openly and vulnerably share what works for me in the spirit of showing you how simple it can be to make the same tools work in your life.
I also share a lot of cool folks who are doing the good work of leading us toward justice for all, dismantling white supremacy, and teaching us how to support each other through activism, mutual aid, and collective community care.
PROFESSIONAL BIO
Rebekah “Bex” Borucki, founder of BexLife® and Row House Publishing, is a mother of five, a meditation guide, a birth doula, a mentor for creative healers, and an author and publisher of books for big and little readers.
She has taught meditation as a profound act of self-care that can be executed effortlessly and effectively to hundreds of thousands of individuals online and in live workshops for more than a decade. Because Rebekah believes that wellness is a social and racial justice issue, her mission has been and will always be to make mental-health support and stress-management tools accessible to all, but especially to the most vulnerable among us.
As a mentor to creative healers, Rebekah guides her clients to create books and brand presences from the ground up and the heart outward. Her clients have gone on to receive publishing contracts with major houses like Simon & Schuster and Hay House. Rebekah is published by Hay House, the Quarto Publishing Group, and her own imprint, Wheat Penny Press, a children’s imprint of Row House Publishing, which she founded in 2020.
Community service is also an important aspect of Rebekah’s work. She is also the founder of the WPP Little Readers Big Change Initiative, Inc., a publicly-funded 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit, which provides free books, mental wellness tools, and writing workshops for students in grades PreK-8, public libraries, and community organizations.
Rebekah lives with her husband, children, and a gaggle of rescued farm animals on their 8-acre homestead in New Jersey, which is also home to her private studio and community learning space, the Blissed In{n}.
