Prepare your taste buds for fantastical amazement…
It’s not very often that the teenagers come up with a brilliant food suggestion (think: french fries, fried chicken… mostly stuff that’s fried), but the 18-year-old hit it out of the park when she suggested that I make this smoothie for today’s blog.
After fussing with the ingredients a bit, I get to offer you the most delicious vegan “dessert” smoothie I’ve ever tasted. (It even got a big thumbs-up from the husband.)
It’s simple, healthy, and kind… a perfectly sweet combination.
Here’s how to put together your Vegan Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie:
[Ingredients]
1 cup Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop of your favorite vegan vanilla protein
1 large banana
1/2 vegan graham cracker
[Directions]
[1] Combine your Silk Almond Milk and graham cracker in a high-powered blender.
[2] After the graham cracker is completely mixed in, add your other ingredients.
[3] Add ice (optional) if you want a more liquid consistency.
[4] Serve in your favorite fancy stemware, and enjoy!
