I don’t like to make predictions or live outside of the moment, but that doesn’t mean that worry about the future sometimes creeps in.
Just the simple act of making plans forces us to live in the future.
I used to be a person who was overwhelmed by anxiety about the future. Worry about things that could happen would consume me and leave me paralyzed in the present moment.
While I no longer suffer from anxiety, it’s still something that I live with. What changed me from a person who was overwhelmed by her anxiety to someone who lives with and manages her anxiety are a bunch of tiny things I do every day. You may have heard of my favorite method, my four-minute meditations.
