You work so hard, so it’s OK to treat yourself now and then, right?
No, wait, cheat meals only cheat you out of the results you want.
But your cravings are a sign that your body needs something. You’re lacking important nutrients, and you shouldn’t deny yourself. Your body knows what’s best… indulge!
There is absolutely nothing that you need in that doughnut!
The messages are confusing at best, and at their worst, they’re sabotaging all your efforts to finally get to a place where you’re not obsessing over food and you’re eating intuitively.
My very good friend, Alex Jamieson, co-creator and co-star of Super Size Me and author of several books on diet and nutrition, including The Great American Detox Diet, jumped on a Skype session with me to discuss her new book, Women, Food, and Desire, and the topic of food cravings vs food addiction. Watch, and let us know what you think!
