For more than a decade, I’ve been on a journey to health – for my kids, my partner, and for myself. It’s been a blissful but challenging undertaking.
I’ve eaten mindfully, exercised, meditated, and I’ve welcomed you all along for the ride – even during intimate moments like the birth of Baby Summer in 2011 and the painful moments surrounding the loss of my parents last year.
Now it’s time once again for me to invite you along for another journey – one that’s sure to bring a lot of joy, new challenges, and incredible opportunities for growth. I’m ready to put my heart, soul, and body to the test once again.
Jotting down a few goals is always a good start to any project:
1. Get my nutrition in check. Eat even more fresh raw foods (green smoothies & Skinny Limits raw juice every damn day for the win). Start with a new daily supplement (I love my vegan & gluten-free Delta Labs formulas). And drink more water (I bring my Tyent TYgo alkalizer everywhere I go).
2. Spend less time working and more time resting. I’ve been kind of sleepy lately, and it feels really good to nap. I’m going to do more of that. Are you with me? Maybe we’ll do a nap challenge! #napwithbex (I’ll work on developing that concept a little more before rolling it out. Let me know if you’re interested!)
3. Focus on my weight. Instead of shedding a few pounds (my usual goal when I’m trying to get in top shape), I think I’m actually going to relax a bit and allow myself to gain a few… or a lot!
Are you down for coming on this journey with me? Are you ready to watch me GROW ANOTHER BABY?! Yep, it’s about to get real science-y up in here!
Mr. Borucki, Winona, Calvin, Jack, Baby Summer, and I are so freaking excited to announce that we have another Baby Borucki on the way – making his/her outer-world appearance in early September 2014.
Baby Summer may be going through a little denial.
Stay tuned for meditations on fertility and pregnancy, hypno-birthing videos with Grace Smith for morning sickness and labor, prenatal yoga, fantastic healthy recipes for Mommy & Baby (and your baby belly), and SO MUCH MORE! Growing babies also launches me into super-creativity mode.
Don’t miss out on a single moment!
