“I am in perfect health.” That’s an affirmation I say to myself every single day as part of my regular mantra meditation. (If you want to hear an audio recording, I’m offering it to Bliss Notes subscribers this week and placing it in the secret archive forever!)
Another fun fact is that I’m living with Lyme Disease. You know – that nasty little bacterial infection carried around by deer ticks. I question every day why I thought moving to the woods was a good idea…
Totally kidding. I actually contracted Lyme Disease about a decade ago, went through years of one misdiagnosis after another, and then finally got a call from my gynecologist telling me that I needed to start aggressive treatment right away. I talk more about it all in today’s video.
And I know I already told you all about my incredible weekend at the Hay House Writer’s Workshop, but I left out a couple parts. One is the hypnotist that I’m shooting with tomorrow for an upcoming BexLife video (she’s going to have fun tips for us), and the other is Rachel Cipriano.
She’s a fellow “Lymie” and an amazing young woman who is also thriving with Lyme. We met at the workshop and quickly made plans to collaborate for her new project, Key Lyme Pie (coming soon).
I spent the day with her at Katonah Yoga studios in the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City last week making yoga videos and talking about our very similar stories. You may have already watched the meditation video that I also shot that day.
If you have Lyme, know someone with Lyme, or have just been feeling really crappy for no reason, you should watch this video and pass it along. xx
