Who else is completely confused about how to actually detox while living in a filthy, polluted world? I can almost hear you screaming, “ME!” as I type this.
Lucky for all of us, I happen to know a few people who aren’t confused at all. You’ve probably already seen my videos with Mike Perrine (if you haven’t, CLICK HERE to check them out), and you may have seen me plugging today’s BexLife guest all over social media.
Alexandra Jamieson has all the credentials to demand our undivided attention… she’s the woman who single-handedly fixed Morgan Spurlock after he ate a McDonald’s diet for 30 days in Super Size Me, and she authored three amazing books – The Great American Detox Diet, Vegan Cooking for Dummies, and Living Vegan for Dummies.
She also happens to be one of the most approachable, funny, and laid-back women I’ve met in the field of holistic health and nutrition. There was no judgement – just love and lots of laughs – when I met her in her comfortable-but-tidy Brooklyn apartment. She made the whole family (yes, Mr. Borucki and Baby Summer were in tow) feel right at home.
It took about four minutes for us to get right into the nitty gritty of detox, veganism (you’ll have to wait a bit for that video!), and the unique situations we face as women when it comes to cleaning up our acts. But don’t worry – none of these tips are difficult. In fact, you can start on all of them the second the video is over.
