Wearing my Buddha Doodles tee in pigeon pose after a hard workout.
After receiving a toy vanity set for Baby Summer for Christmas, Justin and I had a discussion about how to raise our baby girl to know that she is valued for so much more than the way she looks. I have a bunch of great books for kids about self-esteem that belonged to the older kids, but we wanted one specifically for girls that also promotes healthy feelings about their bodies.
You’ll find our favorite pick in this month’s Blissed In™ Seal of Approval video along with some other fantastic goodies for kids (and adults, too) that educate, promote creativity, and help kids to feel amazing about their incredible selves.
You’re going to want my super inspirational picks for the little people in your life, so I listed all the important info on each product below the video. Do you have or know of a product worthy of the Blissed In™ Seal Of Approval and want me to feature it in my next video? Let me know in the comments below!

“Beautiful Girl presents this simple but important message: that to be born a girl is a very special thing and carries with it magical gifts and powers that must be recognized and nurtured. Through these empowering words and illustrations, little girls will learn how their bodies are perfect just the way they are, the importance of treating themselves with gentle care, and how changes are just a part of growing up. Dr. Northrup believes that reading and discussing this book with your girls will help them to value the wonder and uniqueness of their bodies and have positive benefits that will last throughout their lives.”

DISCLAIMER: Hay House Publishing provided Beautiful Girl to me for my review. I purchased the Buddha Doodles books and T-shirt. The Scrapkins gift package was provided for free for the purpose of the giveaway. All opinions are my own. Baby Summer would also like to add that her opinions cannot be bought. She also loves how all the books taste when she chews on them. And if you follow me on Facebook, you know that the night light was purchased with my piggy bank change. A penny saved, folks…
