I was having a tough time getting motivated for this video because I was already super-tired from my own workout earlier in the day and my stomach was in knots from my very stupid tuna-melt idea. My trainer, Chris, has been kicking my butt since I started training my own clients, and I feel ripped to shreds after our sessions. I don’t just want to teach people what to do, I want to be an example for them to follow… this means getting my diet in check and working as hard as I can on my own skills. It’s easy to dismiss a 23-year-old trainer in perfect shape because she’s never had a baby, or stress, or the experience of getting older and having her body turn on her. It’s another thing to deal with someone like me – a real mom with real body issues and a real busy schedule to work around. I want to show my clients that a healthy lifestyle is achievable if you really want it.
So I was having a total sh*t day and everything was getting on my last nerve. Thank god Calvin offered to hang out with me…
