We FINALLY got around to taking some engagement/family photos to display at the wedding {10 days to go!}. You’ll notice that we used the backdrop that we bought from backdrops.us and cleared out some space in my dining room to take the shots.
They were initially supposed to be shot outside but we got lazy and the weather got cold. We decided to just do an impromptu photo shoot using props from around the house and the antlers I bought on Etsy. We’re really pleased with how they turned out… a fun take on our theme and a little love story between a hunter and a deer.
These are a few of the un-edited, un-retouched outtakes from the “shoot” {featuring MOH Winona, Groomsmen Calvin & Jack, Justin, and me}. Click on each photo for larger view.
We had a lot of fun taking these pics with the kids. Jack was so excited to dress up his “moosey” and pose for the camera. I really liked the ultra-fake aesthetic of the wrinkled backdrop, laminate floors, and vibrant colors. We’re what I like to call faux-woodsmen. It works.

Haha! It is so much fun to see all of the unique things people do with my work. Thank you so much for sharing! Very cute.
