This will be my last blog entry before the big day. Three days from now, we’ll be Mr. and Mrs. Justin Borucki, and I’m so excited and nervous and happy… and floating on Cloud 9. In less than 72 hours, I’ll be able to call my best friend my husband. I am overwhelmed with joy.
We have soooo much stuff to get done before we leave on Thursday for the Poconos. We managed to fool ourselves into thinking that we had plenty of time to get everything done, and completely lazy-ed our way into a last minute panicked frenzy.
Today, we made a little bit of our own personal history and took the drive into Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania to pick-up our MARRIAGE LICENSE… YAY!! Doylestown is such a beautiful old American town, especially when it’s covered in a blanket of white glistening snow.
marriage licenses are processed through the Orphans’ Court… don’t ask me why :)
we made our mark in the snow…
…and stopped for one of our self-portraits in front of a snowy park
Today was truly a great day. Oh yeah, something else historic happened today:
it’s always great to be an American, but today it feels euphoric
The next 24 hours will be spent finishing up some last minute D.I.Ourselves projects and packing for the weekend. My living room is covered with bulk-sized groceries, snow-gear, and boxes filled with wedding goodies. Tonight will surely be another late night… drinking wine, watching the inaugural coverage, and crafting. Together ♥
