I, admittedly, am one of the millions of brides who is trying to lose weight before her wedding day. I, regretfully, have not lost an ounce. However, I, being a rational and health-conscious woman, am ok with the fact that I won’t be model-thin when I walk down the aisle. {It is a wedding aisle, and not a catwalk, last time I checked.}
While I know I’m not at my peak weight right now, I still think I look pretty dang good and I don’t need to be told constantly by every Facebook diet ad, bridal magazine, and dress shop saleswoman that a bride is not a bride unless she is wearing a size 4 gown.
Slim Fast is very concerned about me fitting into my wedding dress
This ad is plain gross, and is all too typical of what has been thrown at me on a regular basis during this entire wedding-planning process.
I say “cheers” to sexy, curvaceous brides eating yummy cake and drinking champagne with their adoring grooms! Let’s just hope the heels of my dancin’ shoes don’t break under the tremendous weight of my unbecoming-of-a-bride behind.
That ad is totally WRONG. Seriously!
this is a great blog…I may link to it.
