love is the greatest healer of all…
Winter has passed and (knock on wood) the whole family, including the four kids, has made it through without a cough or sniffle. It’s like a miracle.
I’m notoriously bad about getting sick. Within hours, I turn into a complete infant unable to function or take care of any of my responsibilities. I’m also pretty terrible about taking care of other people when they’re sick. Hey, at least I know my weaknesses. I don’t pretend to be the cuddly type. Everything about boogies and tissues and whining totally skeeves me out.
For those of you not from the NJ/NY area:
SKEEVE – (verb) to gross out; to digust; to make your skin crawl
Something that I also do when I start to show symptoms of getting sick, or when I think I may have sustained a minor injury from a workout, is go into a full-tilt panic about what the repercussions of me being out of commission would be. Who’s going to take the kids to practice? Oh yeah – Justin. Nix that one. How will I shoot videos? Keep appointments? Keep up with email? GAH!!
But, there is a solution. A healing meditation!! This is another meditation video that has come into existence by request from a follower. Your requests drive this train, so keep ’em comin’! xo
Let’s start feeling AWESOME!!
